Dark Knight Rises
Ok, I think I’m officially going to say I’m more excited for The Dark Knight Rises than I am for The Avengers. I mean their both going to be great, but the new Batman marks the end of an era. This trilogy began in 2005, when I graduated High School, and now the trilogy is coming to end. And with that I can look back on the culmination of my years since High School.
I feel like I grew up with Batman as a kid. And than from young adult to adult, this trilogy was right along there with me for this too. I tip my hat to the ending of this film, and look forward to another Batman movie some day, and maybe than, my kids can grow up with Batman.
Catwoman New 52

Hey, guess what? I’ve actually decided to sit down and review a comic! You know, doing those things this tumblr was designed for, but never really got around to doing? Yeah, that! God I love procrastination!
And here is where I expect some hate mail to come into my inbox. I actually like this comic! I get it, a lot of people were disgusted with the first issue, what you know with the sex at the end with a certain costumed hero. None the less though, I think this comic is much more than sex. Yes, the sex is prevalent, but I saw a fair amount of emotions to it. For instance, in the issue that is pictured above, there is something very emotional that happens. It hits Selina to her core and it flushes out the other aspects of her personality.
The art isn’t always on point for this comic and its noticeable when things seem off. Kind of just jumps out of the page at you, but that doesn’t happen to often. I actually think the art compliments what is going on with the writing. This comic is a good introduction to Selina, but if you want better reads, and there are out there, because this comic is not golden, its just “good”, than you can definitely be lead in the direction of better Catwoman comics. Though, I like what DC did here, they introduced Catwoman to potential new readers as a woman who gets what she wants, whenever she wants and she doesn’t care what side of the law she is on, also she actually does care about her pets, her friends and her family and is a very vengeful woman when someone hurts them. All together I say I give this comic a 7 out of 10 rating. Give it a read!

The Art of Cosplaying
Yes, yes, yes, and guess what? Yes again! Cosplaying is a form of art. Any and all art is about self expression, getting yourself out there and maybe even expressing some feelings and emotions through music, writing, theater, dancing, anything, and that includes COSPLAYING!!!!
I, personally think Cosplaying is a beautiful thing. People spend huge amounts of time and even huge amounts of money on the materials and stuff they need to make their costumes. Hard work and dedication goes into it just like anything else, and the pay out for the cosplayer and the people who see their work, can be very rewarding.
So, as a short note to all the haters out there on cosplayers. To Hell with you! What right do you have to sit up there on your self made throne and talk shit about other people like that? What fucking right do you have to sit there and demean other people for just doing something they enjoy? That must be a pretty lonely throne you sit on, because anyone who is worth a damn realizes to shit on someone else hard work is just plain petty and cruel. Cosplaying involves a wonderful world of people who love to partake and admire one’s creativity, and to those of you who hate, were glad your not part of our world.

Warning, douchebag alert.
This fucking idiot, Chris Spags, formerly from Men’s Health Magazine (that explains a lot), does a piece bashing Black Widow cosplayers for his really empty and surprisingly desperate website, Guyism.
…
I have to reblog this for her being so right about cosplaying and cosplayers.
